Yes. Loch Monster Electric is a fully licensed electrical contractor in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance. If a job requires a permit, we pull it. If it requires an inspection, we coordinate it. You do not have to chase that down yourself.

We serve the Twin Cities metro and surrounding communities. That includes Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, Burnsville, Eagan, Woodbury, and many more. If you are in the greater metro area and are not sure whether we cover your city, just call 763-292-1191 and we will tell you straight.

Call 763-292-1191 or use the contact form on this site. We will ask a few questions about the job, get you scheduled, and confirm before we show up. No automated answering systems, no runaround. You talk to a real person.

Yes, whenever the job requires one. In Minnesota, most electrical work beyond simple fixture swaps requires a permit. We handle the application, scheduling the inspection, and getting the sign-off. This protects you legally, satisfies your insurance requirements, and makes sure the work is on record when you sell.

We show up when we say we will, we explain what we are doing in plain language, and we do not disappear after the job is done. We built Loch Monster Electric in the Twin Cities because homeowners and business owners deserve an electrician they can actually count on. The name is a little ridiculous. The work is not.
